Study claims increase in cases of chronic cough and asthma among children
Multiple studies have documented the toll that poor air quality takes on our lungs and overall health.
In Bengaluru, rising air pollution has resulted in an increase in the prevalence of chronic cough among children and teenagers under 18.
Over the last 18 years, the number of children afflicted with chronic cough has risen from 8% in 1999 to 21.25% in 2017.
