Central Universities Bill passed by Lok Sabha
The Lok Sabha on Friday passed the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019, with Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, who introduced the Bill, stating that preparations were on for filling vacancies in the next six months. The Minister said that the Bill provides for the establishment of a Central university and a tribal university in Andhra Pradesh.
