India – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia : Bilateral Haj Agreement 2026

Context:
• Union Minister of Minority Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju on official visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 07–09 November 2025.
• Visit undertaken at invitation of H.E. Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Minister of Hajj & Umrah, KSA.

• On 09 November 2025 – bilateral meeting held with Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah.
• Review of ongoing Haj preparations & measures to enhance coordination & logistical support.
• Commitment to streamline pilgrimage processes for Indian pilgrims.
• Focus areas — improving facilities, transportation, accommodation, health services to ensure a smooth & comfortable experience.
Bilateral Haj Agreement for Haj–2026 signed in Jeddah.
