Scientific Details:

Moringa oleifera (Least Concern) – commonly called the drumstick tree – is a rapidly growing, drought-tolerant species native to India and extensively cultivated across tropical regions of Asia, Africa, and Central America.
This tree is highly valued for its edible leaves, flowers, and seed pods.
It has earned the name “The Miracle Tree” because of its dense nutritional content, healing properties, and versatile applications.

Nutritional Significance:

The leaves and blossoms are packed with proteins, carbohydrates, and essential nutrients like vitamins, calcium, and iron. These attributes make it an important tool in tackling child malnutrition in countries like Senegal, Rwanda, and Madagascar.

Growing Conditions:

It flourishes in well-drained sandy loam soils with a pH of 6.5 to 8 and prefers temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C.
