Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday wrote to the Chief Ministers of the States ruled by the Congress and its allies, urging them to pass a resolution in their Assemblies asking the Centre to pass the women’s reservation Bill in the next session of the Lok Sabha. In his letter to Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, which was released by the party, he said the Rajya Sabha passed the Constitution (108th Amendment) Bill in 2010, but it lapsed after the 15th Lok Sabha was dissolved in 2014.PAGE 10
