The Bulgarian Collapse.

Reuter learns that some delay may be expected in carrying out completely the terms of the Bulgarian armistice, owing to congestion of railways and roadways due to the presence of a demoralised Bulgar army. There is no confirmation from any quarter of the enemy reports regarding Austro-German military movements in the Balkans. Anyway the Allied Command has the matter well in hand. As regards Turkey, no definite change has occurred, but there are persistent rumours in financial quarters which coming events may well justify. [In London] a Bulgarian Communique announced that an armistice was signed in the evening of September 29th and exhorted the nation to be calm as the day of definite peace was near. The German Press is still incredulous that Bulgaria has entirely deserted the Central Powers, professing to cling as a last hope to the results of the despatch of Austrian and German troops to Sofia.
