TransportHub (TH), an online platform that provides technology ecosystem and a whole gamut of IoT and analytics solutions to transport and logistics businesses, has chalked out plans to foray into West Asia and Africa. “We have initiated talks with entities in Dubai and South Africa to expand our footprint in the Middle East and Africa,” said Rohit Chaturvedi, CEO and director, TransportHub. “We will either enter into joint ventures or establish offices in these locations,” Mr. Chaturvedi said. To serve its customers better, the company had decided to introduce machine learning-based optimisation software that will again be integrated with its platform. “The algorithm is being tested and the progress is slightly slow due to data privacy issues of clients,” Mr. Chaturvedi said. He said the solutions are being used by a few of the largest corporates and a number of MSMEs in India and soon would be introduced across India through the company’s distribution network, which it is expanding at a fast pace. Flexibility to customers “Ours is the only platform which gives flexibility to customers to pick and choose the services on SaaS model,” he said. “Thus, the customers need not spend big money to develop IT infrastructure and to maintain and upgrade the same,” he added.
