Components under PMVKY:

  • Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojna (PMAAGY): Aims to transform tribal villages into model villages with enhanced infrastructure and access to essential services.
  • Development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs): Focused on the upliftment and welfare of PVTGs through targeted programs.
  • Support to Tribal Research Institutes: Encourages research initiatives on tribal issues and supports knowledge-building on tribal cultures and challenges.
  • Pre-Matric Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to tribal students at the pre-matric level to improve school attendance and prevent dropouts.
  • Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme: Offers scholarships for tribal students pursuing higher education.
  • Administrative Assistance for Project Management Units: Ensures efficient implementation and management of PMVKY projects through dedicated project management units.
