Tarun Plus Category under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY)
- Overview: The Tarun Plus category is a new loan segment under the PMMY, designed to support entrepreneurs with access to loans ranging from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh.
- Loan Guarantee: Loans under this category are backed by the “Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units,” which provides guaranteed coverage, mitigating lender risk and encouraging lending to small enterprises.
- Objective: This category promotes entrepreneurship by enabling emerging entrepreneurs to grow and expand their businesses.
- Eligibility: To qualify for the Tarun Plus category, entrepreneurs must have previously availed and successfully repaid a loan under the Tarun category.
