Context: The Bharat Tech Triumph Program (TTP) has been introduced as part of the Create in India Challenge Season 1 to spotlight India’s gaming talent on the global stage.

The winners will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 in San Francisco and the WAVES Summit in India.

What is the Bharat Tech Triumph Program?

The Bharat Tech Triumph Program is a national platform designed to boost India’s gaming sector and promote advancements in interactive entertainment. It offers Indian game developers, startups, and tech companies a chance to gain international visibility.

Organizing Bodies:

• Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB): The government body responsible for overseeing the initiative.
• Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council (IEIC): The organizing partner of the program.

Objectives of the Program:

• To discover and showcase India’s gaming talent on prominent global platforms.
• To promote innovation in gaming, animation, and emerging immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and the Metaverse.
• To support startups and studios in creating high-quality games as part of the Create in India initiative.

Key Highlights of the Bharat Tech Triumph Program:

• Who Can Apply? Open to game developers, studios, startups, and tech companies that have a functional prototype.
• Selection Process: A structured three-phase process, including game submission, expert evaluation, and a final showcase.
• Global Exposure: Winners will receive fully sponsored opportunities to present their innovations at GDC 2025 and WAVES.
• International Collaboration: The program has attracted 1,078 registrations, including 12 international participants, fostering global partnerships in the gaming industry.
