The Anji Khad Rail Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir is India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge, part of the Udampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project. It connects Katra and Reasi, enhancing connectivity and promoting economic development in the region.

USBRL Project:

  • The USBML Project, declared a national project in 2002, spans 272 km, featuring the Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway bridge. It aims to connect Kashmir to the Indian Railways network.
