Context: The Ayush Oushadhi Gunvatta evam Uttpadan Samvardhan Yojana (AOGUSY) has been introduced to regulate Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy (ASU&H) medicines in India under the framework of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, and its associated rules.
Implementation: The scheme is managed by the Ministry of Ayush.

- Boost Manufacturing and Exports
- Enhance India’s capacity to produce and export traditional medicines and health-related products.
- Align with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative to promote self-reliance in the Ayush sector.
- Upgrade Infrastructure
- Support infrastructural and technological development to standardize and improve the quality of ASU&H medicines.
