Clean Plant Initiative

The Indian government has launched a comprehensive Clean Plant Initiative aimed at providing farmers with high-quality, disease-free planting material. This initiative is designed to significantly enhance crop yields and improve farmers’ incomes.

Other Recent Government Initiatives:

• Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) 2.0: This ambitious housing scheme aims to provide affordable housing solutions to one crore urban poor and middle-class families. Under this program, the government will invest ₹10 lakh crore to assist families in constructing, purchasing, or renting homes.
• New Railway Projects: To improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and lower logistics costs, the government has approved eight new railway projects across seven states. These projects will benefit 14 districts and contribute to reducing oil imports and carbon emissions.
