Key Objectives and Features The reforms aim to simplify postal services, focusing on citizen-centric services aligned with the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” vision. Key features include:
- Digital addresses, expanded payment options, and improved grievance redressal.
- Simplified mail and parcel services, including new classifications and increased money order limits (₹10,000).
- Enhanced tracking for parcels, benefiting businesses and enabling smooth newspaper registrations.
Service Improvements and Collaborations The regulations also enable collaborations with public and private entities to broaden service delivery and create jobs.
