NASA will launch the SPHEREx Telescope aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

• Full Name: Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer.
• Scope: Will gather data from 450 million galaxies and 100 million Milky Way stars.
• Objective: Map the sky in optical and near-infrared light over two years.
• Goals:
  • Investigate the universe’s origins and galaxy distribution.
  • Produce a 3D cosmic map in 102 colors.
  • Study cosmic inflation post-Big Bang.
