Event Details
- Held from 7th to 11th February 2025 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- Organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India.
- Inaugurated by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on 8th February 2025.
Background of BIMSTEC
- Regional organization with seven member states: India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal, and Bhutan.
- Focuses on issues like climate change, poverty, and sustainable development.
Summit Objectives
- Announced during the 4th BIMSTEC Summit in Kathmandu (2018).
- Theme: “Youth as a Bridge for Intra-BIMSTEC Exchange.”
- Aims to engage youth in addressing global challenges and advancing UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Delegate Participation
- 70 delegates, 10 from each member state, selected for expertise in youth development areas.
- Diverse representation fosters innovation and meaningful discussions.

- “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue X BIMSTEC” highlights youth development efforts.
