- GIS-Based Tracking System: Utilizes Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to monitor cybercriminals in real time.
- Crime Infrastructure Mapping: Offers jurisdictional officers better visibility and enforcement capabilities.
- Mobile Number Projection: Identifies and tracks mobile numbers linked to cybercrimes nationwide.
Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)
- Established by: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as a central hub for cybercrime enforcement.
- Key Initiative: Manages the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), allowing individuals to report cyber offenses online.
Key Functions of I4C
- Cybercrime Prevention: Strengthens law enforcement response to digital frauds and online threats.
- Cyber Forensics & R&D: Develops investigative tools in collaboration with research institutions.
