GS2 – Governance
The Viksit Panchayat Karmayogi initiative was launched on Good Governance Day to mark the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It aims to strengthen Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) through better tools and training.
Key Objectives
As part of the Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur campaign, the initiative focuses on empowering local leaders and officials to improve governance at the grassroots level.
Tools and Implementation
The program uses e-learning platforms, AI chatbots, and mobile apps to close knowledge gaps and improve rural services. It started in states like Odisha, Assam, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh, promoting citizen involvement in decision-making.
Other Initiatives Launched
Dr. Singh also introduced:
- iGOT Karmayogi Dashboard: Now offering 1,600 e-learning courses.
- CPGRAMS Report 2024: Highlighted the resolution of over 2.5 million grievances annually.
- Simplified Pension Application: Combined nine forms into one, with Aadhaar e-signatures and real-time tracking.

Dr. Singh highlighted reforms like better maternity benefits and tech-driven pension systems, all aimed at empowering citizens and simplifying governance.
