Major E.H.S. James, Sessions Judge, Civil and Military Station, to-day [August 14, Bangalore] delivered judgment on the Marwari child murder case in which Naga, a Hindu milkman, and Yesoda Bai, an Eurasian woman, were charged, the former with alleged murder and robbery and the latter with alleged murder, abetment of alleged murder and robbery. The case created considerable sensation in view of the fact that Yesoda Bai is the wife of a Hindu official of the Survey of India, and the mother of eight children and also in view of the extraordinary horrible nature of the crime as was revealed in the course of the trial.
